Originally  trained as designers of silverware, we were used to working with pewter to produce models for clients prior to working in precious metals. We enjoyed pewter as a material and the opportunity to be more experimental. This along with the immediacy of the results allowed us to develop our range.
We have interests in the natural world as well as historical sources such as medieval tapestry and imagery and this drives the richly decorative quality of our work
As designers our range of work is quite varied. We have won prestigious Goldsmiths' Company Awards on three occasions, and have collected seven international 'A' Design Awards for product design one of which was for our pewter work. Most recently we won the Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Councils 'Lockdown Challenge' with a set of designs for coffee glasses.
